The snow has just about melted completely, and that means spring is around the corner. It's in the air already. I've heard a few birds chirping...and they wouldn't lie to me. I can't deny it...I'm getting spring fever early. And the only cure...is getting outside. I need to get out of my house, office and car. I need fresh air, I need flip flops. I need to plant flowers. I need a bike ride to the beach. I need an ice cream cone and a walk around Port Jeff. I need tailgating at City Field and Jones Beach. I need long days and slow sunsets. I need boat rides and some camping. I need crickets and lightning bugs. More than anything, I need to barbecue, I need my friends and a few cold ones.
