This weekend I had the pleasure of joining some friends and family for a first birthday party. My friend's son just turned one, and the day couldn't have been more perfect. The weather, food, music, face paint and balloons all contributed to this wonderful birthday. The kids were a dream to shoot, so long as I could get them to slow down long enough for me to push down the shutter of my camera. The birthday boy was especially wonderful. This kid's heart warming smile and giant brown eyes were just begging me to grab one more shot. I can't wait for my next chance to grab a few more shots of this beautiful baby boy.

Gorgeous! The close-up of the little girl with facepaint (3rd to last) is my favorite. You did a beautiful job and I can hardly wait to see what you do next.
